I have no business running a marathon. The most I have ever run was 8 miles and I couldn’t walk the next day. But I’m going to run! I’m running in the memory of my friend Jen Lakari. Jen was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on January 31, 2022. A single mother of two daughters she fought all the way till the end. But that’s not her story. Her story was that she was an incredible mother. A certified Sommelier and incredible cook. She was an avid hiker and loved the outdoors. Jen had such a sense of humor and she loved so hard. Her story continues on with her two daughters, her family and with all the memories of her beautiful life. She was just an incredible human. All donations will go directly to her family.
