Details

Checkpoint volunteers will be stationed along the course for the purpose of monitoring the progress of the lead runners. The job entails writing down bib numbers for the top men, women and relay teams as they pass your checkpoint, then reporting that information back to race officials at the finish line. Checkpoint volunteers must have access to a cell phone.

Details

The early lead cyclists will guide the walking group that starts two hours before the rest of the entrants, helping stop traffic if necessary. After reaching the half marathon turnaround point, the cyclists will leave the walking group and wait for the lead male and female runners in the half marathon, then guide those runners back to the finish line.

Overall and masters winners for the half marathon and marathon will be recognized at two separate awards ceremonies; other award winners can pick up their awards at any time. We'll have printouts listing the award winners and will update the lists as more age groups get filled in.
