Best Buddies of Maine fosters one-to-one friendships between people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). These programs offer social interactions while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion for a population that is often isolated and excluded. We also offer leadership development programs that empower people with and without IDD to become leaders, public speakers, and advocates. Additionally, we work with businesses throughout the state to offer integrated employment programs. Our programs are growing and expanding to support our community.
