I'm dusting off my running shoes to join an amazing group of coworkers have chosen to run the Maine Marathon in support of Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program (MCHPP). MCHPP is a hunger relief nonprofit serving economically disadvantaged households across mid coast Maine. MCHPP's mission is to offer dignity and empowerment by providing all members of our community with access to healthy food. Their organizational vision is of a community where quality, nutritious food is available for all by removing barriers to healthful meals for all of our community members in need regardless of race, color, age, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity.
We are all deserving of quality, nutritious food, and would be so grateful for your support this year as we run to fight hunger in our Maine communities.
