Hosted by Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation, the Ben to the Shore Bike Tour on Sunday, July 20, 2025 is a charity bike ride that raises money to provide necessary financial relief to the families of fallen or critically injured first responders; to cultivate positive interactions and relationships between first responders and the communities they serve; and to provide mental and emotional wellbeing resources to first responders and their families.
About the Ride
Participating riders have the option of cycling the full 65-mile route from the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia, PA to Atlantic City, NJ. We also offer a 30-mile route from Hammonton, NJ to Atlantic City, NJ, as well as a 10-mile route from Galloway, NJ to Atlantic City, NJ.
Riders are greeted by friends, family, volunteers, and supporters at the Showboat Hotel to celebrate their amazing accomplishment and raise additional funds at the legendary After Party!

How to Make a Donation
We encourage everyone to make a donation through this Ben to the Shore website to ensure your contribution is immediately credited to an individual or team fundraiser. If you would prefer to make an "offline" donation by check, please make your check payable to Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation and send your contribution to the following address:

Be sure to include a note referencing the following if applicable:
1) Fundraiser name and 2) Team name
Note: Checks must be received by July 1, 2025 in order to be credited towards a fundraiser's minimum.
How to Create or Join a Team
First, register yourself for the event. You will then be directed to a fundraising page. Here you can create or join a team. Existing teams will appear on a drop down menu. Pick the team you wish to join or click the button to create a new team.
Team fundraising makes the Ben to the Shore Bike Tour experience all the more fun and meaningful. When all your positive energy spreads through your team, you wind up raising more. Teams make a difference!
PRIZES will be awarded to top individual fundraisers and top teams earn preferred starting placement for the ride!
