Hosted by Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation, the Ben to the Shore Bike Tour on Sunday, July 26, 2026 is a charity bike ride that raises money to provide necessary financial relief to the families of fallen or critically injured first responders; to cultivate positive interactions and relationships between first responders and the communities they serve; and to provide mental and emotional wellbeing resources to first responders and their families.

About the Ride
Participating riders have the option of cycling the full 65-mile route from the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia, PA to Atlantic City, NJ. We also offer a 30-mile route from Hammonton, NJ to Atlantic City, NJ, as well as a 10-mile route from Galloway, NJ to Atlantic City, NJ.
Riders are greeted by friends, family, volunteers, and supporters at the Showboat Hotel to celebrate their amazing accomplishment and raise additional funds at the legendary After Party!

65-Miles
Ride from the heart of Philadelphia to the shores of Atlantic City on an unforgettable 65-mile journey through scenic South Jersey. Starting at 7:00 a.m. at the former Philadelphia Police Headquarters, cross the iconic Ben Franklin Bridge and finish strong at the Showboat, an epic challenge, powerful cause, and incredible experience you won’t want to miss.
30-Miles
Take on a scenic 30-mile ride through the beautiful back roads of South Jersey, starting in Hammonton and finishing at the Showboat in Atlantic City. It’s the perfect blend of challenge, camaraderie, and coastal finish.
10-Miles
Perfect for riders of all levels, the 10-mile route starts in Galloway and cruises over the Absecon Boulevard Bridge into Atlantic City. With a relaxed 10:30 a.m. start and a triumphant finish at the Showboat, it’s a fun, accessible way to be part of an unforgettable ride.

Note: Checks must be received by July 7, 2026 in order to be credited towards a fundraiser's minimum.
How to Create or Join a Team
First, register yourself for the event. You will then be directed to a fundraising page. Here you can create or join a team. Existing teams will appear on a drop down menu. Pick the team you wish to join or click the button to create a new team.
Team fundraising makes the Ben to the Shore Bike Tour experience all the more fun and meaningful. When all your positive energy spreads through your team, you wind up raising more. Teams make a difference!
PRIZES will be awarded to top individual fundraisers and top teams earn preferred starting placement for the ride!
