I have made it past the two-year mark with no evidence of disease! I'm grateful for that, as well as all the silver linings I've discovered along the way. One of those has been making new friends because they have also been diagnosed, some who are now doing very well and some with aggressive or even terminal disease.
To celebrate cancer survivors, honor those we've lost, and help enable ACS to fund groundbreaking research, provide vital information and practical support for those facing cancer, I plan to participate in the Climb to End Cancer in Flagstaff on September 19.
By standing with the American Cancer Society, I stand with the 18 million cancer survivors in the U.S. today—and with those who may one day hear the words, “You have cancer.” That’s why I’d be so grateful for your support. Please donate to my efforts, and together, we can help end cancer as we know it—for everyone.
Thank you, friends and family!
