About Our Event
Climb To End Cancer is more than a hike, it’s a volunteer-led campaign that unites the Flagstaff community to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. It’s a powerful journey honoring loved ones impacted by cancer and raising critical funds to save lives. As the American Cancer Society’s signature event in Northern Arizona, this campaign powerfully illustrates how small steps—taken together—can lead to big change. ACS is determined to ensure no one in Northern Arizona touched by cancer has to walk alone at any point on their cancer journey.

Driving Cancer Prevention Impact
You can help the American Cancer Society save more lives from cancer in 2026 than we will in 2025--we can't do it without you. Start fundraising today.
We climb because the mission demands it.
At the American Cancer Society, we’re unapologetic fundraisers — because cancer isn’t slowing down, and neither can we. Ending cancer as we know it, for everyone, takes all of us: researchers, patient navigators, advocates, survivors, caregivers… and passionate partners like you.
When your company joins Climb On The Go, you’re fueling life‑saving research, helping patients access rides and free lodging, and expanding prevention and screening efforts across Arizona.

Route Details & Distances
Experience one of northern Arizona’s most scenic climbs as you make your way up Snowbowl Road—a paved, National Forest Service roadway ascending from ~7,342 ft at Basecamp to ~9,514 ft at the Arizona Snowbowl resort area. This ~7.1‑mile route gains nearly 2,200 ft of elevation, offering a rewarding challenge for endurance athletes and an inspiring, accessible experience for participants of all ability levels.
Along the way, you’ll move through alpine forest, high meadows, and sweeping mountain views on the western slopes of the San Francisco Peaks, one of the most iconic landscapes in the Coconino National Forest.
Our team provides full support throughout the climb, including continuous bus service up and down the route so participants can rest, ride, or return to Basecamp at any point.
A Strava route map will be available soon. Once you register, you’ll have the option to connect your Strava account and access full route details immediately.
