The primary impact of the BFCF is as a starting point for other organizations and ideas. Over our twenty-year history, local non-profits that have grown from sub-committees to our steering or have been incubated by BFCF include the Boys & Girls Club, the Food Partnership Council, the Red Lodge Area Community Foundation and the Fun Run itself. Projects from BFCf include the Elk Viewing area on Ski Run Road and the bear-resistant trash containers.
BFCF's mandate is to preserve and enhance a desirable living environment along the Beartooth Front. To this end, we continue to identify and discuss issues that can impact that environment.
