A family-owned business in the third generation of ownership/management, we carry over 270 different types of cheeses from all over the world. With 12 cheeses made "in haus," we are proud to sell many Michigan-made products. Our Figurinespiel, Sundial, and Klaus the Cheese Haus Maus are added attractions!
The Frankenmuth Cheese Haus has been a landmark in Frankenmuth since 1968 and is known for the quality cheeses we produce and the many other Michigan-made products we sell. The store opened on May 28, 1968, by William "Tiny" Zehnder. Judy Zehnder Keller bought the business from her father in 1980 and operated the Cheese Haus for 42 years. Now, the third generation has taken over ownership and management.
