Course

The Winterläufe 8K race is a beloved annual event held on the first Saturday in February, attracting an impressive gathering of over 700 enthusiastic participants. Taking off from behind the iconic Zehnder's Restaurant, the course treats runners to a picturesque journey along a winding route, culminating at the historic 1904 Gugel Bridge before heading back downtown. Once the race concludes, participants can refuel with refreshments at the finish line, and the eagerly anticipated awards ceremony awaits.

Conveniently, multiple free parking options are available in downtown Frankenmuth, providing easy access to the event. Parking is available behind Fischer Hall, Zehnder's Restaurant, Bavarian Inn Restaurant, and the Chamber of Commerce, with Zehnder's parking lot being the closest to the starting line. Directly across the street, Bavarian Inn Restaurant is the hub for onsite registration, packet pickup, and the subsequent awards ceremony.
