The West Newbury Youth League aspires to be an outstanding educational-athletic organization that provides a high-quality experience to every child. A high-quality experience is one in which every child:
- Participates in a safe environment
- Is given an opportunity to participate regardless of financial constraints or any other situation
- Has fun at practices and games
- Is instructed through positive coaching
- Feels like an important part of the team regardless of performance or ability
- Learns life lessons that have value beyond the playing field
- Understands the meaning and practices sportsmanship
- Is taught the fundamental skills and is given the opportunity to practice those skills, allowing for player improvement
