You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill or on the track.

Yes, you can run or walk longer than 5K, but we encourage you to upload your best 5K segment so that your time is accurate in comparison to the other participants.
Note that the minimum time allowed is 14:45 and the maximum time allowed is 2:00:00.
No, you can run or walk today! Just sign up and go for your 5K@EASD.
You do not have to wait until 2 October 2026 to complete your run.
We encourage you to complete the 5K@EASD Challenge, and submit your results right away for your participation to be counted.
You only have to complete the 5K@EASD one time, however you are more than welcome to submit results more than once, and we will keep your most recent upload.
Yes, you have to complete the 5K distance continuously.
It must be completed in one period and cannot be split up on different days or sessions.
However, you are welcome to switch between running and walking at your own pace to cover the 5K distance.
Yes, you can run in a group or individually.

Yes, you are more than welcome to participate in a wheelchair or handcycle! Please select wheelchair or handcycle when you register!

Make sure to submit your results online after you finish your race.
There is no race medal for completion of the 5K@EASD, but after you submit your results through RunSignup, you will receive a personalized certificate of completion with your name and country flag for finishing your 5K@EASD.
