Thorncroft Equestrian Center
Established in 1969, Thorncroft is one of the oldest therapeutic equestrian centers in the United States.
Our mission is to develop the physical and emotional well-being of all people regardless of their individual challenges. We are committed to personal growth and education in an equestrian environment of respect, love and inclusion.
Thorncroft Equestrian Center is a premier leader in the field of therapeutic horsemanship. Our Farm embraces the continuing education and development of high quality programs and instruction. Thorncroft brings out the gifts and abilities of all people and helps them realize their potential. We accomplish this with 18 instructors, 34 horses, and 2 indoor arenas on 70 acres of protected open space. Thorncroft serves 350 riders (adults and children) each week. Our lessons maintain a focus on mainstreaming riders of all abilities to bring out their best.
