FAQ

What is included with Registration?

While enjoying the company of likeminded people, you get to run a flat and fast course along the picturesque Hoboken waterfront. Though you don’t have to run for time, we’ll time you just in case you’re into that kind of thing…Prior to the start, at packet pickup, you’ll get a custom bib commemorating the event and at the finish you’ll get to enjoy an epic pizza party where you get to devour some local slices. We’ll also provide race photos, and have other sponsored giveaways (e.g. water, sports drinks, swag) which are TBD.

What should I bring to the race?

Bring a smile…and payment / ID if you plan on signing up on race day. Though we currently intend on offering race day registration, our events do commonly sell out. In the event we sell out the race we will no longer offer race day registration. It’s best to take advantage of early bird / early pricing to ensure entry.

Can I get a refund?

Per our registration policy, we do not issue refunds under any circumstances.

Will you cancel if there is bad weather?

The 5K for Pizza is rain or shine. In the case of lightning or other “severe” weather, the event will either be delayed until the weather clears, or cancelled all together. There are no standing scheduled “rain dates” for events owned and directed by our team. Events are held rain, shine, or snow. In the case of significantly inclement weather (i.e. lightning in the area), we reserve the right to alter components of the event or course to address safety concerns, or potentially delay, postpone or cancel the event. In addition, it is possible that while we desire not to cancel the event, our facility and/or municipalities may force the cancellation of the event. In such situations, there will be no refunds of entry fees. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee. Monies collected have already been used to develop and produce the event. We promise to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event. Any decision made to go forth with the event is contingent on the overall event and course safety, and is made collectively with local risk management, police, fire & rescue, and medical personnel as appropriate.
