As a community of dedicated employees, families, and medical professionals, our mission is to provide the highest quality of service, leadership, and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities in the Greater New Orleans area.
Founded in 1935, Magnolia Community Services provides support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. Magnolia offers physical and behavioral care, 24/7 direct support in 21 residential group homes, supported community living, supported employment, recreational and day activities and wellness programs to ensure our 149 clients live their best lives.
Magnolia clients are active on our River Road main campus and in the community, participating in activities such as job skills training, art programs and more. Equally as important, our clients routinely give back to the community through volunteerism and client clubs including walking, sports and crafting.
This year our Crescent City Classic Goal is $25,000.
Your support will help to fund:
- fitness staffing at our wellness center, giving our clients the motivation and resources for wellbeing
- our community volunteer program providing social engagement and self-confidence for our clients
- supported employment training and placement giving each client the pride and self-esteem of earning a paycheck
Every dollar counts! With your support, Magnolia Community Services can continue to lead the way for adults with developmental disabilities in the Greater New Orleans area. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of those who rely on us!
