Hi Everyone-
I am part of the Am Yisrael Chai Atlanta Teen Leadership Initiative and have been involved for several years.
I have always been a top fundraiser for The Daffodil Dash and I am starting my fundraising campaign for 2025.
Am Yisrael Chai raises awareness and funds for Holocaust Education and for genocide awareness. The race benefits the Atlanta Holocaust Survivor fund which provides care for Holocaust survivors. Me and my Riverwood friends have had the honor of hearing from survivors and spending time with them at our annual school plantings and other events.
One of the organizations that Am Yisrael Chai supports is “The Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village”. The village helps vulnerable and orphaned Rwandan youth. The teens who volunteer with AYC got to be in conversation with the teens from the village via Zoom for a couple of years in a row. It was very meaningful to get to ask them questions and to learn about their lives. I also recently attended an AYC board meeting where we hosted the CEO of Agahozo-Shalom who shared his story.
Am Yisrael Chai is a huge part of my life and I would love for you all to sign up for the in-person Daffodil Dash on Sunday, March 30th at Brook Run Park: Click HERE to register for the Race and join the Riverwood Team. Together we can make a difference. If you are not able to join in person, there is a virtual option where you sign up and do the walk/run on your own any time between March 7 and March 30th. I am working to reach my goal of raising $1,000. If you would like to donate, the link to my fundraising page is below:
