Holy Comforter Episcopal School (HCES) will be a partial beneficiary of net proceeds for the Springtime Races by Gulf Winds Track Club (GWTC) for 2025 in exchange for usage of their modern collegiate level track which is currently under construction. HCES, located on Fleischman Rd in northeast Tallahassee, is a not-for- profit independent school with an almost 70 year history of serving the North Florida and South Georgia Big Bend Community. The addition of a collegiate running track accessible not only to the school’s students and families but also to the broader community marks a significant development in the school’s history, and an opportunity to partner with the GWTC.
This partnership between GWTC and HCES, as a designated beneficiary of the Springtime races, will provide access for GWTC events without charge. These events could include, but not be limited to, one or two races per year, once a week training events throughout the year, an eight week track series for families (held one evening per week), or other similar activities as mutually agreed by HCES and the GWTC.
