The Bergen Chinese School has been a cornerstone of the Bergen County Chinese community. BCS convenes each Sunday throughout the academic year at Tenafly High School where 20 faculty and 150+ students from across the tri-state area come to learn not only how to read, write and speak Mandarin in its traditional form, but also participate in cultural activities including calligraphy, chinese crafts, poetry and more. Grade levels range from Pre-K to 9th grade including classes for adults. BCS operates under parent entity Chinese Service Center USA (CSC), a non-profit 501c3 organization. Subsidiaries include Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning (TCML), Metropolitan Chinese Culture Camp (MCCC) and Bergen Chinese School (BCS).
