What is the Spark the Fun & Run?
It is a signature fundraising event for Girls on the Run South Central Alaska. In this family-friendly, high-energy event, teams of 2 - 6 will participate in a 5K relay. Each team is responsible for running 12 laps and completing 6 activities (stations) total.
Teams can break up laps and activities any way they choose. Activities include: Duck Walk, Cup Stack, Wheelbarrow Race, Soccer Goal, Balance Challenge, and Star Power Jumps. Follow our Facebook event for activity station demos coming soon! (Note that specific activities are subject to change)
Top-finishing teams will get prizes as will teams that raise the most money. You will finish this event knowing that you helped reach, empower, and ignite a spark in girls to fearlessly chase their dreams.
