Spark the Fun & Run

Girls on the Run inspires girls of all abilities to recognize their individual strengths, while building a sense of connection in a team setting. Volunteer coaches guide lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development to enable girls to adapt to whatever comes their way. At the end of the season, the team completes a 5K together, which provides a tangible sense of accomplishment and sets a confident mindset into motion.

The cost to deliver the GOTR program in Southcentral AK is approximately $200 per girl. On average, 63% of our girls receive financial aid to participate in Girls on the Run. Your donation ensures we can continue to offer our program to all girls who want to join, regardless of her family's ability to pay the registration fee. Thank you for your consideration! To submit an individual donation which is not towards a fundraisers goal, scroll to the bottom of the page where it says, Donation. Select the amount you would like to donate (or enter custom amount), and then hit continue.

To become a fundraiser (individual or team), click the BECOME A FUNDRAISER BUTTON below.
 
On the next page you will see two different boxes: Become a Fundraiser, and Team Fundraiser.
 
To become an Individual Fundraiser you will only fill out the top box, Become a Fundraiser, and then scroll to the bottom and select 'Set Up Fundraiser'.
 
To create or join a Team Fundraiser you will fill out both sections, Become a Fundraiser and Team Fundraiser, then select 'Set up Fundraiser'.
 
*If creating a team you will set the toggle button to yes below 'Create a Team Fundraiser'.
**If joining a team you will select the drop down menu under 'Join a Team Fundraiser'. Then you will search for your desired team.
