We Run $5 - Virtual-ish Road & Trail 5Ks for Space Camp

Who is tired of being cooped up and seeing races everywhere being cancelled?  Who wants to get back to it? You have 12 days to run this!

Then,  join us for this "virtual-ish 5k" for Space Camp. Each month will be a different location, you will have 12 days to run/walk a 5k at this venue (Virtual-ish means everyone runs the same course, just not at the same time, due to Covid-19 restrictions). We are using the honor system for results, so once you complete your run, you'll record your own time to Runsignup.com.  Click here to see how to submit your results.  You can even upload your GPS data, click here to find out how. We will finalize the results, the last Sunday after noon.

This race has not one, but 2 courses, a road 5k (map) and trail 5k (map). And to make it even better, we will be doing a Full Moon 5k on Sep 29th! Sign up for one, two or all three! Here are the turn by turn directions for the road and trail 5ks. Park in front of the Rocket for the Road 5k, and in the Aviation Challenge parking lot for the Trail 5k.

We will be at the USSRC and on the course both Saturdays 7-9am, cheering you on and taking photos of those who choose to run during that time.  While there, we ask everyone to follow state COVID-19 guidelines for social distancing, including wearing a mask, if you can't maintain 6 feet separation.  We are setting up this virtual event to keep everyone safe!

The is a no-frills event (no shirts, no aid stations and no official timing).  This is just for fun.  And the best part?  This is a FREE event.  We are merely asking for a minimum  $5 donation per event.  All proceeds will go to Space Camp.
