The 6th Annual No Longer 5K will take place on Saturday, April 7, 2018, in downtown Trussville. The NL5K is the perfect race for people of all ages and all athletic abilities. All runners and walkers are welcome! Each registration includes an awesome race tee, a chipped-bib, and lots of freebies and local deals. We are anticipating an exciting race day filled with fun for the whole family!

5K Awards

Thanks to our generous sponsors, we are awarding cash prizes to the top three overall male and female winners in several categories. The total cash purse for the 2018 NL5K is $2,050.

ELITE DIVISION: CASH PRIZE $250, $200, $150 and race medal
Top 3 Overall Male and Overall Female
New this year! An elite runner division will be included within the NL5K event. This will allow runners competing for the course record (15:03) cash prize of $250 to also compete for a separate cash prize designed for elite runners. To run in the Elite Division and to be eligible for an Elite Division cash prize, you MUST be registered for the No Longer 5K - Elite Runner Division event.

COMPETITIVE DIVISION: CASH PRIZE $75, $50, $25 and race medal
Top 3 Overall Male and Overall Female
The top three overall finishers in this division will be selected from participants registered for the NL5K event.

MASTERS DIVISION (40+): CASH PRIZE $75, $50, $25 and race medal
Top 3 Overall Male and Overall Female
The top three finishers in this division will be selected from all participants aged 40 and up registered for the NL5K event.

COURSE RECORD CASH PRIZE $250: The course record for the NL5K is 15:03 and was set last year by Brandon York. Think you can beat it? SET A NEW COURSE RECORD, WIN A $250 CASH PRIZE!

Team Information

Form a team to make the NL5K even more fun! A team can be a group of people running in honor of someone special, a group of co-workers looking for a friendly competition, or any other group looking to have a good time. We encourage you to make your team stand out, so have fun and be creative while supporting a great cause. In the spirit of friendly competition, Team Awards will be given in the following categories: Team with the Most Participants, Fastest Team (average of first four finishers' times), and Most Team Spirit.

Early Race Packet Pick-Up Party

FRIDAY, APRIL 6 at FBCT from 3:00pm until 7:00pm
Avoid the registration lines (and sleep in a few more minutes) on Saturday morning by picking up your race packet early. And as a bonus, register for special door prizes!

World Changers One Mile Fun Run

The FREE one mile fun run is open to anyone wishing to participate. The first three kids (12 or younger) to finish the Fun Run will be given an award. OPTIONAL: For a $10 registration fee, your child can register for the fun run to receive a No Longer 5K tee and a fun run race bib!
