2024 Race Day Instructions
FINAL RACE INSTRUCTIONS
Date: Thanksgiving Day, Thurs., Nov. 28, 2024
Location: Peoria Sports Complex (16101 N. 83rd Ave., Peoria)
The Races & Start Times
10 mile (course map) - 7:30 a.m. start
5km (course map) - 8:15 a.m. start
1 mile (course map) - 8:25 a.m. start
Early Packet Pick Up & Toy Drive
- Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at The Runner’s Den (6505 N. 16th St., Phoenix)
- Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024 from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Peoria Sports Complex (16101 N. 83rd Ave., Peoria)
Race Day Packet Pick Up & Toy Drive
- Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024 from 6:30 a.m. - 8 a.m. at Peoria Sports Complex
Parking
Participants should enter the Peoria Sports Complex (PSC) at Stadium Way which is the northernmost parking lot entrance off of 83rd Ave. The 10 Mile runners will be running out of the PSC via Mariner's Way, so 5km and 1 Mile participants should not enter the parking lot from Mariner's Way.
Timing and Race Bibs
The 10 mile & 5km events are timed using chip-timed disposable bibs. These bibs should be worn on the front and outside of any layer of clothing to ensure electronic reading.
Results screens will be available near the finish area. Please let us know as soon as possible after the race if you cannot locate your time or if you need a correction to your time.
Bibs & Race changes
10 mile bibs are BLUE
5km bibs are RED
1 mile bibs are WHITE
If you would like to change your event, please email info@arizonaroadracers.com prior to Wednesday, 11/27 – OR – Go directly to the SOLUTIONS TABLE at packet pickup on race day. (If you pick up your bib first you will end up standing in two separate lines and slowing down the process.)
Aid/Water Station
Water will be available near the 1 mile, 4 mile and 7 mile marks.
Awards
Five-year, sex-specific age group awards will be given for the 10 mile and 5km races. The one mile fun run doesn’t have age group awards.
Please remember to claim your Finisher’s medal as you cross the finish line! There will be a special guest handing out the Finisher’s medals this year!👑
