ASH Foundation Run/Walk FAQs
What is a virtual run/walk? A virtual run/walk is an event that you can participate in – from anywhere. At your
own pace, you can run, jog, or walk along a route of your choosing. ASH encourages you to show your race pride
in stride and post your photos, videos, and share your stories using #ASH20.
Why virtual? ASH recognizes the importance of physical and mental health during this time. A virtual run/walk
provides us the ability to exercise safely while also socially interacting with our community (online). While an in-
person event is ideal, online interaction can be a healthy way to reconnect with colleagues and friends and
continue to support the ASH Foundation.
When must I complete my run? For this event you must complete your run (whatever distance you signed up
for) between November 27 – December 11.
How do I create a Group/Team? Participants are free to create a group or team and will have the option to
during registration. You can join a group or team by searching for the name within the Groups/Teams tab at the
top of the event webpage.
How do I purchase bulk registrations? If you would like to purchase a bulk number of registrations for a group,
please contact Julia Gaudet at email@example.com.
Is there a mobile app for this year’s event? Yes! The RaceJoy app will provide a real-time, innovative running
experience, that will track your time via GPS. To download the RaceJoy app and view the RaceJoy User
Is there a specific way to track our time? The ASH Foundation Virtual Run/Walk, like most, is based on the
honor system. You may track your time on the RaceJoy app, with another app on your phone, watch, or any
fitness device of your choice.
How do I submit my time? It's not required that you submit your time, but if you would like to appear on the
online leaderboard, as well as be able to access your finisher’s certificate, you will need to submit your time. You
can do this by navigating to the Results Page, through the results link Here, search for your name and add your
time. Alternatively, you can use the RaceJoy app to automatically submit your time after your run or walk.
How do I get my Finisher Certificate? From the online Results Link Here.
