THE MISSION
The mission is simple - run as a team, pairs of two at a time - 5 legs, locate and capture the strategically hidden flags & bring them back to the basecamp flagpole as fast as possible. 

*  The terrain is Flagstaff trails -- not technical but definitely not smooth.

THE CAPTAINS
Each of the 10 teams will have an assigned Captain --  these runners are among some of Flagstaff's most experienced and fun athletes. Captains are responsible for team strategy, morale & even taking on the toughest leg if needed.

THE TEAMS

Run entries are FREE and open to anyone - from the hardcore to the weekend warrior and all points in-between. Everyone has a place, let us know your trail skill level as you register. 

From the field of registrations, 15 Teams of 9 Randomly selected runners from the registered field will be created (by us) and attached to a Captain -- total 10 Team Members each Team. 

Each Team Pair's leg will be different, we'll match up participants to make skill-balanced rosters. 

THE LOCATION
The multi-leg out and back race starts at Cinderline: a project between ACG and Run Flagstaff and makes its way to Mars Hill Trail, with the 5 different legs of different distances and required skill -- accommodating runners of all varying abilities.

THE WINNER
The first Team to captures all of their flags, returning to basecamp lowering the finish line flagpole first.
