Even More Features
Virtual Racing
Can't join us in Westminster on race day? Our virtual registration is the perfect way to participate and support Adaptive Adventures in spirit, whether you're taking on a local challenge or avoiding poor weather on race day. This option gives you the flexibility to run on your own time and meet your athletic goals and still earns you modified points for the Run Amok Championship. Plus, you won't miss out on the awesome perks—your swag and custom medal will be shipped directly to you the Monday following the event!
Endless Series
As a part of our first-of-its-kind race that doesn't end, run the same Endless Series course at back-to-back events to measure your progress and if you improve your pace get an award to mark your achivement! Run Fall Fest before or after this event to participate in the Endless Series.
Season Series
Register for both spring events (Spring Fever and Beat the Heat) and receive 25% off your registration fees! You can mix and match distances and in-person/virtual participation.
Run Amok Championship
Everyone who participates in an All-Out event is entered into the annual Run Amok Championship. Earn points for your distance and for how you place in your age group, and the folks with the most points at the end of the year win free events!
Friendly for All Abilities
Want to just walk the half marathon? Yes, we'll be there for you at every aid station and still be set up at the venue to welcome you in. Want to run the 5K at Olympic speed? We'll also be ready for you! We truly love and support all of our athletes, especially those "back-of-the-pack". We also welcome dogs, and most of our courses are great for strollers and wheelchairs (note the soft surface on the 10K & half marathon routes)
Prizes
We have the great 3-deep awards that you love, overall and divisions.
Overall winners of each gender
- $100 for the 1st place finisher, $75 for the 2nd place finisher, and $50 for the 3rd place finisher.
- May include prizes from our partners
There is also a prize of a free event registration randomly selected from all participants of each distance, winners will be notified via email the week after the event.
FAQ, Rules and Policies
YES! Make sure to pose at the event banner before your run to be eligible for the costume contest! The race director will review all event banner pictures after the event to award a prize of 50% off a future All-Out event (split among group entries).
We're proud to offer more for our athletes' post-race recovery, and that includes those with dietary restrictions! While we can't offer a full spread for every single health need (at least not without a significant increase in registration fees), we make it a point to include an item or two that will be safe for anyone. This includes vegan breakfast burritos and we provide forks for gluten-free athletes who wish to safely eat the burrito contents.
We may have an independent coffee truck on site for food and drink purchases for spectators.
However, please note that the post-race nutrition (Gatorade, burritos, fruit, etc.) at the finish line and meal tent has been carefully purchased in quantities designed for the number of registered athletes only. We are unable to serve or sell any of the finish line recovery food or drinks to spectators.
Our divisions are: M/F 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90-99
Note that overall winners are removed from their age division so that more athletes can earn awards! We will accept and award results based on your declared gender as registered, with no additional supporting evidence required. Non-binary athletes who wish to compete for place awards should sign up within the male or female gender pool that they most closely identify with, but non-binary athletes who place in the top three overall for their distance (gender agnostic) will still receive an overall award.
If you couldn't stay until the award ceremony or finished after your award ceremony, don't fret! We make award collection easy:
- In-Person Pick-Up: If you finish after your award ceremony, just head over to the awards tent. We'll be happy to look up your standing and hand you the award right there! We will not furnish awards early unless under exceptional circumstances.
- Off-Site Pick-Up: If you can't pick it up on race day, just contact us! We'll happily hold your award until your next event or ship it to you for a $5 fee.
Note: if you won an overall award but were not at the award ceremony, you will need to coordinate collecting the cash in-person from Superior, CO or receive a voucher for the equivalent amount towards a future All-Out event.
We want you to love your race shirt!
Size Swaps
While you will initially receive the size you requested upon registration, if you find a different size works better, please stop by the registration tent after registration closes (spectators can help you with this!) to see if a swap is possible.
Custom-printed Brag Tags have been designed to attach directly to your finisher medal! These tokens are available to all repeat finishers of an event and can be picked up at the registration tent after registration has closed.
Preliminary results will be available electronically within minutes of you finishing!
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please review your results before your award ceremony, even if you don't expect to have placed.
- Race Day Corrections: Discrepancies should be reported to the timers immediately to allow for necessary corrections and ensure the right awards go to the right athletes. Athletes will not be entitled to an award when the necessary correction went unaddressed prior to the awards ceremony.
- Post-Race Corrections: Discrepancies discovered online later may be reported through the contact function on the results page or by contacting us directly. All discrepancies of any kind, for any reason, must be submitted by 11:59 PM on the Tuesday following the event to be considered for revision. We will not reissue awards based on post-race corrections.
While having alcohol is certainly not off the table for our events outside of public school property (like the Golden NAAC Stadium races), we're holding off for now. The process to license and permit the service of alcohol to a mixed-age crowd in an open atmosphere is demanding, requiring additional staff, equipment, and security on race day. Trust us when we say we hear you—this is the question we get asked most often! We plan to hold off until our events are big enough across the board that we can absorb these costs without being forced to raise registration prices. We won't forget when the time comes!
Every race bib will have a QR code located on the middle tab that will lead you straight to your results! You can also find your results at any time by accessing the Results menu item on the website.
We are a "cup-full" event because we prioritize our runners over everything else! Endurance events are challenging enough, especially for beginners, and we don't want any athlete to worry about carrying or sustaining themselves.
We choose to avoid the risks of a cupless event: no one should have to wait in line for water at the finish or miss a Personal Record because they were delayed getting electrolytes on the course. We want the best experience for all runners, regardless of ability.
We still care about the planet! We actively recycle all plastic bottles and cardboard used at our aid stations and meal tent, and we are currently investigating ways to make it even easier for athletes to recycle the plastics they use.
To us, finisher medals are not about awarding what others have deemed a "respectable effort." They are about awarding the "never quit" or "refuse to fail" attitude each individual must have to cross that finish line. Because there's no way for us to know the perspective and journey of each athlete, we provide a custom finisher medal to all. We're here for your "why".
If you are of the mindset that medals aren’t necessary until you hit a longer distance, we encourage you to refuse a medal at the finish line or donate it to one of the many great running charities!
We always include the year on our swag for keepsake purposes, but we intentionally omit the specific date. But you just never know when a blizzard or other unforeseen event might cause a postponement!
This is a tough call at every race! The earlier we start the ceremony, the more late finishers miss out. The later we start, the more early finishers can't wait around. To us, scheduling the start of the awards ceremony for right in between the two extremes seems the fairest approach for all participants. If you finish after your award ceremony but have achieved a division placement, simply find any staff member in a green shirt and we will get you your award!
We have the great 3-deep awards that you love, overall and divisions.
Overall winners of each gender
- $100 for the 1st place finisher, $75 for the 2nd place finisher, and $50 for the 3rd place finisher.
- May include prizes from our partners
Divisions: Competitive divisions are determined by an athlete’s age on race day and are grouped in 10-year increments (0-9, 10-19, 20-29, etc.). Placement Note: Those who place in the top three for their distance and gender will be moved up to the Overall Division, regardless of age. This leaves the remaining field eligible for division awards, ensuring more runners have a chance to step onto the podium!
Course records: athletes that break the course record will be given a coupon for a free future All-Out event.
There is also a prize of a free event registration randomly selected from all participants of each distance, winners will be notified via email the week after the event.
