It will be pretty cloudy and cool with temps going for the upper 30s to lower 40s. There is a slight possibility for very light rain and snow. (click the image for the full forecast).
If you're running the 10K or half marathon, you will be running on gravel-packed soft surface. With the forecast precipitation coming up, there may be some mud in this area that should not affect your running, but may get on your shoes, so choose your footwear accordingly.
Join us for the 13th annual Beat the Heat event, where one of Colorado's favorite trails meets one of its most glorious parks, all in support of Adaptive Adventures! Follow the winding courses southwest along Big Dry Creek Trail, and enjoy the breathtaking sight of Standley Lake against the backdrop of the majestic Flatirons. Its Endless Series sidekick in September is Fallfest. Get ready to journey back to the 80s at Beat the Heat, complete with leg warmers, scrunchies, neon colors, and the beats of Run-D.M.C. And don't forget to dress up for our 80s costume contest - it's going to be rad!
