Zero Waste
The event is a Leave No Trace event.
You will notice that instead of trash cans, we have a central Zero Waste Station: Ground Zero which is organized by Happy Planet Running. A team of their staff and our volunteers handle all of the waste produced by the event. Please bring all of your trash to "Ground Zero" where they will sort it and then weigh it all at the end to give us a sustainability report.
Post-Race Celebration
Stick around post-race for food and festivities! Our Epic staff and volunteers will be cooking up crepes, breakfast burritos, and more for race participants.
