Freedom is a fundamental human right. It is a cornerstone of what makes us human. Yet, across the world and in our own communities, this right has been stripped from far too many as they are forced, tricked, and coerced into situations over which they have no control. They are robbed of those same rights that we value most.
Human trafficking is happening in our backyard. We can change that. By getting involved to support survivors and educate ourselves about human trafficking, we can awaken our city to the reality and the solutions. Every step we take reduces vulnerabilities and stigma and empowers our neighbors, friends and community to stop human trafficking and set people on the path to freedom.
