Kim Jade Fry, female bassist, lead vocalist and composer for Kim Jade and The Good Thingfunk/rock band, originally out of DC, is a versatile, energetic and soulful woman with a funky, big band that is electrifying. Kim Jade lays down hard-core bass grooves and sings with big ole soul. This band will keep you grooving all day with their tremendous, old school sound, this show includes the super funky Duane Simpson on guitar, Lance Dresser from Oakland, CA, on the drums, and a solid brass horn section with Asheville’s finest Jonathan Lloyd on trombone (and vocals) and Tim Morgan on trumpet.
