Yes. You may register on the day of the Walk. For your own convenience, you can register on-line up to 10:00 am, which will be much more convenient for you and expedite your check in on the morning of the Walk. Registration takes less than 5 minutes on-line.
Parking is available in the parking lot in front of the Health and Wellness Center as well as to the North of the building. Parking is free and there are handicapped spaces available.
Please leave valuable items at home. There is not a location at the Health and Wellness Center to leave personal items. You will likely want to bring your wallet (credit or debit cards will be handy to have for the Silent Auction items) and perhaps your phone. Take lots of pictures and share them with us!
There will be a water station at the turnaround point which is approximately halfway through the 2.2 mile route. Water will be available at the start of the Walk, so grab a bottle to go if you expect you might need it before the water station.
There are no restrooms or porta-potties along the route, but there are wonderful indoor facilities in the Health and Wellness Center to use before you leave for the walk and upon your return.
If you are attending, but ot walking, please still register to be present and supportive for participants who might still be fighting the battle within. Your presence at the Walk will help raise awareness of the crisis and will demonstrate to others that they are not alone. There will be plenty of other things for you to do when waiting for the walkers to return to the Health and Wellness Center....Tai Chi, seated Yoga, Labryinth Meditation, and lots of exhibits, not to mention just relaxing on the beautiful patio by the waterfall or overlooking the lovely little lake.
Rain or shine, we will gather to support and raise awareness for this important cause. Please come prepared for any weather conditions and bring any necessary items such as raincoats or umbrellas if desired. The patio has a large overhang, so the exhibits and food stations will remain dry, as will you when you return to the Health and Wellness Center.
If we get caught in a downpour, towels will be available at the Health and Wellness Center.
Donations can be made on the website after the Walk is completed through the end of December 2026.
