Registration Info
Is There An Age/Height Requirement To Participate?
There is no height restrictions to run the full obstacle course, however, it is recommended that all participants be at least 42" tall on event day . You must be at least 12 years old to participate in the full obstacle course. The age range for children to participate in the Kids Fun Run is 5 to 11 years old. Youth under 5 are not permitted to participate. Youth older than 11 are not permitted on the kids course.
How Does The Family Discount Work?
The Family Discount rewards you for registering three or more people during the early registration period. In order to receive the $5 per person Family Discount, you will need to register at least three people in the same transaction prior to the June 7, 2019 cut off. There is no coupon code needed and no limit to the number of people that can be added to your cart. Simply click the Add Another Registrant button while registering and select the Family Discount under Multi-Person Pricing and each person in your family will save $5 off their entry fee regardless of the race they selected. This offer expires on June 7, 2019. There are no extensions so register early.
Are their Refunds?
You can get a refund of your full entry fee, less a $10 processing fee as long as you request the refund prior to June 1, 2019. After this date, no refunds will be processed. To request your refund, simply click on the REFUND POLICY button on the event website (upper right-hand corner.)
Can I Transfer Another Runner's Registration?
Yes you can make a Transfer Request, where you as the registrant offers your registration to another user, and upon that user's paid registration, the original registrant receives a refund. Once this occurs you will receive a refund of you entry fee less your Sign Up fees plus a $1 Transfer fee.
Do I Have To Register My Child?
All participants must register and pay to run the course. You must be at least 12 years old to participate in the full obstacle course. The age range for children to participate in the Kids Fun Run is 5 to 11 years old. Youth under 5 are not permitted to participate. Youth older than 11 are not permitted on the kids course. You can receive a Family Discount if you register 3 or more participants in the same transaction.
How Do I Sign My Waiver?
If you registered yourself, then you signed your waiver during the registration process. If someone else purchased the ticket for you, they have agreed to the waiver on your behalf. Waivers can also be signed onsite during check-in by the runner.
Do You Offer A Military Discount?
Yes, we offer military members a $5 discount. Please contact beachfit@corrigansports.com to get the discount code.
How Do I Confirm or Change My Wave Start Time?
Your wave start time is listed on the confirmation number you received when you registered. You can have your confirmation email resent to you by following these steps: RESEND MY CONFIRMATION. If you want to change your wave start time, you can do so by following these steps: UPDATE MY CORRAL SELECTION. If a wave is full, you will not be able to select that wave start time. PLEASE NOTE: June 15 is the deadline to change your wave start time. After this date you will not be able to change waves.
Can I Purchase My Registration At The Event?
Absolutely. You can purchase your day-of registration at the Registration Tent on-site. Day-of registrations will be limited to open waves. Rates will increase for walk-up registrations and discounts may not apply.
What Is Included With Registration?
If you signed up for the full obstacle course, your registration includes an Under Armour finisher's t-shirt, and two runs on the course.
If you signed up for the kids division, you will get unlimited runs on the youth course during your assigned 30 minute wave. All youth competitors will receive a finishers medal when their wave is complete.
My Friends Registered for A Wave That Is Now Closed; Can I Sign Up For An Open One And Run With Them?
We require all participants to run in the wave time they are registered under. Your provided wristband will state your start time, and will be checked at the beginning of each wave. On race day, if there is an opening, we will do our best to accommodate wave changes. But this cannot occur until the day of the event. If you or your friends want to change your wave start time, you can do so by following these steps: UPDATE MY CORRAL SELECTION. If a wave is full, you will not be able to select that wave start time. Race Day Information
Where Is Packet Pick Up?
Packet pick up will be available on race day at the Beach Fit zone of the JellyFish Festival, located on the Dorchster St. Beach.. We start packet pick up one hour prior to the start time of the first wave of the day. Your packet will include your wristband which is needed to enter the starting line corral. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your wave start time for check-in.

Can I Pick Up Someone Else’s Packet?
Unless you are an immediate family member, you must provide a photo ID of all participants you would like to pick up for. They will also need to have their waiver signed online. If they have pre-registered online, they have already signed the waiver, as it is a requirement to complete the registration process.
How Can I Pick Up A Packet For A Minor?
We understand many minors do not have a form of ID available. You will be asked to verify information on the account (i.e. birthday, email address) in order to pick up their packet.

Can I Run With My Child?
Parents are not permitted to run the Kids course. However, parents are required to remain in the Parents viewing area while their child(ren) are on kids course.
Can My Child Run In Adult Course Instead of Kids Course?
Yep! As long as you purchase an adult ticket for them and they meet the age requirements, they'll be able to run that course. We just offer the Kids course as an additional option! You must be at least 12 years old to participate in the full obstacle course.

Beach Fit is a RAIN or SHINE EVENT. The Ocean City Beach Patrol (OCBP) controls access to the beach. In the case of lightning, the event will resume once the OCBP sounds the All Clear.
