Race Day in St. Paul

Como Regional Park
1199 Midway Pkwy
St Paul, MN 55103
This is a different location than the past two years!!
Race Headquarters and the start/finish line is located at the Como Midway Picnic Pavillion (not the lakeside pavilion).
Parking:
Free parking is available in public lots in Como Park, as well as on nearby residential streets. Please arrive early to allow plenty of time to park and walk to the Pavilion!
Schedule of Events:
Packet Pick Up: 8:00am - 9:00am
We will be ready for you right at 8:00am, but to give our volunteers plenty of time to set up and get organized please don’t be too early! Your race packet will include your bib and your race t-shirt. If you need to exchange your t-shirt for a different size, please visit the packet-pick up area following the race.
There is no race day registration!
Abby’s Run: 9:15am
This is the Kids Run event, now formally named for Abigail Anderson. No need to register your kids, just join us! It will be a short sprint on the path from the 5k starting line, and each runner will receive a sticker for participating. If you’re running the 5K please plan to join us to cheer for our smallest runners during Abby’s Run!
Brave Like Gabe 5K: Following Abby’s Run
We will be lining everyone up for the 5K immediately following Abby’s Run, and the run will follow a certified course that takes in Como Lake. The route will follow the running/walking paths, and you will see signs along the way helping you stay on track. This is not a closed course so please be respectful of others using the paths. The race will be chip timed, and while there won’t be any awards you are all winners in our hearts! You will receive an email with your time following the race.
Water Stop:
A water stop will be located between miles 1 and 2.
Finish Line:
When you cross the finish line, grab a post-race snack bag!
Post-Race:
You are welcome to hang around and enjoy the park! We will have a variety of sponsor booths, a photo opportunity, and we’ll have Running on Hope merchandise for sale!
