Pumpkin Patch Dash 1K - 5K - 10K at Hunter Farms

Hunter Farms and Buhach Colony High School's Cross Country team are delighted to invite you and your family to a day full of fun activities and entertainment on Saturday, October 14th at the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Patch Dash at Hunter Farms.  Whether you have children and are looking for a cool activity on a Saturday this Fall or are a dedicated runner looking for a whole new venue to run your next 10K or 5K...Hunter Farms Pumpkin Patch Dash is the place for you!

During this Pumpkin Patch Dash hosted by Buhach Colony XC and Hunter Farms, the proceeds of this event will also be supporting the Children's Fund of Valley Children's Hospital. A fellow Buhach Colony High School alumni, Colin Chima, was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a blood cancer, shortly after his graduation from Buhach. So far, Colin is fighting through this process with a tremendous amount of support from his family and peers. Although this is a challenging time, he feels extremely blessed and excited to begin the healing process.

The care and support Colin received at Valley Children's Hospital in Madera has led to his decision to choose The Children's Fund Charity to receive a donation of the proceeds of this event under Buhach Colony XC. The Children’s Fund provides high-quality comprehensive healthcare services and programs to all children regardless of their ability to pay and to continuously improve the health and well-being of children. The Hunter Farms Pumpkin Patch was first opened in 2013 and is located just east of Buhach Rd. on the south side of Southern Pacific Avenue in Atwater.  For the last 9 years, the Hunter Farms Pumpkin Patch has provided our community with the perfect venue for family birthdays, a pumpkin patch with the best gourds in Merced County, a Corn Maze, a Dinosaur Dig Sandbox, Hay Rides, a Critter Corral, and much, much more.  Your paid registration and registration bib is your ticket to enter and enjoy all of the attractions.  Wear your best costume (or not) for a chance to win one of the many raffle prizes given out after the Run/Walk.  All registered participants (online or on race day) will receive the following:

• Finisher's Medals to the first 50 finishers in each event.
• Chipped-Bib which will be used to time your run or walk.
• Bib is also your ticket to enter Hunter Farms Pumpkin Patch Attractions for the day.
• Free candy for anyone dressed in a costume!
• Wear a costume and be entered to win one of many Raffle prizes. 

We are a family-friendly and stroller-friendly event.  Bring a friend.  Wear your best costume (or not).  There will be lots of children present so don't make them too scary and please keep them family appropriate.  Sign up!  Spread the word!  And we will see you at the 2nd annual Pumpkin Patch Dash 1K, 5K, & 10K at Hunter Farms in Atwater!
