League of Mexican American Women warmly invites you to be a part of something special—the Fourth Annual Frida Fun Run! This beloved community event celebrates fitness, culture, and opportunity while raising crucial funds for local students. Our aim this year is to bolster our scholarship program, increasing the number of scholarships awarded to students in 2026. Join us for a day filled with friends, family, fun, and fitness!
Held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Fresno City College, the event takes place on a vibrant, picturesque campus in the heart of Fresno. With its lush green spaces, historic buildings, and tree-lined walkways, the setting beautifully reflects the spirit of community and cultural pride.
Join us for a meaningful day of friends, family, fun, and fitness—and help us empower the next generation through education.
About the League of Mexican American Women (LMAW)
Founded in 1973 in Fresno County, the League of Mexican American Women (LMAW) is a grassroots organization dedicated to empowering our community through education, cultural celebration, leadership development, and service. Discover our programs and how you can get involved here.
Fun Run Video Highlights
Distances
5K Run/Walk & 2K Run/Walk
These runs are open to all ages. Youth 10 and under are only $15. The course is marked with directional arrows and volunteers.
Kids Races
Register here for a child 10 or under who does NOT want to run the 5k or 2k run/walk. Youth who register for the 5k or 2k can also run the Kids Race. Youth who register for the Kids Race will not be timed in the 5k or 2k
Virtual Run
Out of town on the big day? Run at your own location and time to earn your finisher's medal and shirt.
5K/2K Early Bird Pricing Tiers
Note: Tier pricing does not include the $3.60 processing fee per participant.
Tier 1 (4/1 - 4/15) = $35
Tier 2 (4/16 - 6/30) = $45
