Celebrate Valentine's with THE Heart Run 5k or Half Marathon13.1
Pick your theme. You will get a bib and a shirt and medal that matches. Both themes run the 5K and at the same time and are combined for one set of age division awards for the 5k. Everyone gets a finisher medal. We have ample.
THIS FEBRUARY FESTIVAL RACE will include both themes in 5k and Half Marathons. One set of combined awards for the 5k and the Half Marathon. PICK which February finisher BLING you want! FOOTBALL or HEARTS!
Also available as an add on: a $5 food voucher ticket. This can get 2 street tacos, a drink and a tamale, a full plate of pancakes, or a coffee drink from the coffee truck. Or just bring cash for race morning.
Remember to also have $15 cash on hand if you are coming in the State Park gate to park. We encourage carpools. There is free parking throughout Sunset Beach if you are willing to jog east and into that last LOT 25 on the corner of Warner and PCH. No car entrance is available at that far corner. All vehicles coming into the Bolsa Chica State Park must come in the main gate in the mid section.

Early Packet Pick-Up: We encourage you to pick up the day prior

Packet pick-up is optional, so if you cannot make it- don't worry. Packets can be picked up on race day starting at 7 am in LOT 25. The gates to the STATE PARK open at 6 am.
HALF MARATHON gets long sleeve ZIP up or PULL over HOODIES for the HALF MARATHON that say FINISHER on them. Medals help commemorate FEBRUARY themes. Cheering you on into the finish. MAKE GOALS for yourself in February.
EXTRA SHIRTS and MEDALS are available if you WANT BOTH. $15 short sleeve. $20 hoodies. $10 a medal.

CHIP TIMED by ITZ ABOUT TIME. PROCEEDS help form Ware in the World Foundation. Proceeds from the races go to supporting the needs Caren Ware has RAN into Running remotely around the world. We currently are gifting proceeds to Nepalese villages and their medical and schooling needs, plus helping them create means of healthy income during the monsoon seasons. We opened Take Care Beauty Salon in the school village of Sotang so the moms could earn money for their children's school supplies. We covered costs for baby births so children and young mother's have safe deliveries. And we provided trekking shoes, jackets, and sleeping bags for the guides and porters, plus help with tuition for kids to go to school. It 's exciting and healthy to gift back! Same location as RUN in the NEW YEAR! Just as FUN! Double the FUN!! Run up an appetitive for the Super Bowl Games. RUn with your sweetheart...albeit your children, wife, girlfirend, running buddy, or just solo. We ALL have a heart and we want it to be the healthiest!!
5k/10k Course Map
HALF MARATHON is currently permitted for 2 laps of the 10K. We are hoping to be granted a permit for an out-and-back through to Huntington Dog Beach. AS FLAT AS A COURSE CAN GET!!! Hear the surf. Enjoy the beach.

Parking/ Entrance to Bolsa Chica State Park.
The event is in the farthest western lot- Lot 25) Closest to Warner & PCH, but to enter the park use the following address: 17851 Pacific Coast Hwy. BRING $15 CASH (or a parking pass) to make the gate line proceed quickly. Credit cards slow the process.
FREE OR METERED PARKING: There is also parking behind the Jack and the Box (corner of Warner and PCH ) and an easy walk-in. DO NOT PARK in the shopping lot or at the gas station. And, the STATE PARK has a program where you can come and do a beach clean up for a FREE STATE PARKING PASS.
Public Restrooms are provided by the State Park and the buildings are located on each end of the parking lot .
