Join us for the 'Run for Paws: DoggieRun 4K/5K' event! This fun and family-friendly race celebrates our furry friends and promotes healthy, active lifestyles for both humans and their canine companions. Whether you're an experienced runner or just looking for a fun day out with your dog, this race is for you. Come run, walk, or jog in the beautiful surroundings of Griffith Park and support a great cause. General Information

REGISTRATION: If you have one dog, only one person will need to register for the dog. People may accompany the dog on the walk without registering for the dog walk. Registrants for the dogs will get a dog T-shirt and Goodie Bag.

NOISES AND LIGHTING: Your pet will be exposed to a variety of situations and noises, small excited children, barking dogs, loud music, people speaking loudly on microphones, and crowds clapping and cheering. 

WATER BOWLS: There will be communal water bowls at different locations along the route. You can bring your own portable water bowl for your dog.

RULES FOR PET OWNERS:

Only one dog is allowed per walker.
The person walking the dog must be 18 years or older. While children may walk alongside dogs, no children may hold the leash to the dog during the event. .
Dogs must be well-behaved and non-aggressive around people and other dogs.
Dogs must be on leash at all times, NO EXCEPTIONS. Please bring a leash that is no longer than four (4) feet. No extendable/retractable leashes allowed.
Dogs must be current on all required vaccines.
Please do not bring puppies who have not completed all of their vaccinations.
Please set a good example and pick up after your pet. Extra poop bags, as well as trash cans, will be available.

If you have a pet breed that may not be able to handle this level of activity (4K), please consider not registering for this event.


There may be many large dogs at the walk. If you have a small dog, consider carrying your dog or bring a pet stroller to keep your dog safe/comfortable.
 

Note to Parents: Sometimes the most well-behaved pets can be startled and react in an unexpected manner. Please remind children to be respectful and refrain from petting any dog without the owner's permission. Kindly note that any and all dog interactions are done at your own discretion and risk. Firecracker is not responsible or liable for any dog related incidents.

Packet Pickup & Late Registration

Friday, November 22nd from 11am to 5pm

Please bring your ID and registration confirmation email (electronic or printed)
You can pick up for your friend's packets if you have a copy of their ID.

If you cannot make it to packet pickup you can still pick up race morning starting at 6:30am. Bib pickup will be closing 10 minutes prior to the start time of each event.

Late registration is still available at packet pickup and race morning at the start location. We will NOT be accepting any cash payments unless it's exact change.

We will be starting promptly, please plan accordingly!
