The Pleasanton Rotary Halloween Spirit Run will take place in Pleasanton on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
Alameda County Fairgrounds, Gate 12, Valley Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566.
5K/10K starts at 8:30 a.m. Kids Challenge (ages 2 – 8) starts at 10 a.m. 25 yd. for 0-4, 50 yd. for 5-6, and 75 yd. for 7-8yrs. Races will be ran separately and from youngest to oldest.

Free entry ticket to Alameda County Fair for runners – Kids Challenge included.
Long sleeve shirts for 5K-10K runners - first 750 to register. Kids Challenge - shirts are optional to purchase; $12 each.
Rotary will donate $5 to PUSD schools teams (schools, clubs, sports teams, etc.), or any other non-profit group, for every 5K/10K registrant who chooses a team. It’s easy! Select a team from the drop down menu (under Teams) and Rotary will issue a donation directly to that team after the Rotary Spirit Run on October 31.
If you would like to add a team to the list, please send your request to Steve McCoy-Thompson by October 15 for approval and inclusion – Please try to have at least 10 5K/10K prospective members on your proposed team. All requests from PUSD school clubs must be made by a PUSD teacher or staff member. Businesses can create a team and run as a group also, but the $5 rebate only applies to non-profit organizations.
Proceeds support scholarships for Pleasanton students and community & international projects of The Rotary Club of Pleasanton.
Well-behaved dogs are permitted in the 5K or 10K; all dogs must start in the back of the pack at the starting line, be on a non-retractable leash, and be cleaned up after by their human. Dogs attending the event should be comfortable in crowds as well as around other dogs.
Pre-race Packet Pick Up will be held at Fleet Feet in Pleasanton (234 Main Street) on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 11am to 5pm. Participants may also pick up their bib and tshirt on race morning (10/31) at the Alameda County Fairgrounds near the start/finish line starting at 7:00 am and continuing through 8:20 am (through 9:45 am for Kids Challenge entrants).
Photo ID is not required to pick up packets at Fleet Feet and you may pick up for friends or family. Please wear a mask while inside Fleet Feet per local health order.
