SGRAIL is so much more than a triathlon. Expect the beauty of Marin County — the Bay, the Golden Gate and China Camp State Park — varied courses and aid stations with real character, combined with community events: a sporty warm-up, great local food and meeting your fellow SGRAILERS.
At SGRAIL it’s not about the clock – it’s about the experience, good food and the moments you share.

The SGRAIL Marin Triathlon is a USA Triathlon Sanctioned event.

Registration

1. June 26, 2026 (12:00 PM PST) - Pre-Registration Starts
2. July 18, 2026 - Early Bird Registration Starts
3. August 4, 2026 - Regular Registration Starts
4. September 18, 2026 - Late Registration Starts

September 25, 2026 - Last Day for Triathlon, Triathlon Relay & SGRAIL Challenge Registration

September 30, 2026 - Last Day for Trail Half Marathon Registration

DISTANCES: (ALL COURSES)

• TRIATHLON - Kids Event (13 & Under) = Details TBA
• TRIATHLON - Olympic Distance = 1,500 Meter Swim / 40K Bike / 10K Run
• TRIATHLON - Olympic Relay (2 or 3 person relays) = 1,500 Meter Swim / 40K Bike / 10K Run
• TRAIL HALF MARATHON = 13.1 Miles/21K
• SGRAIL CHALLENGE= Triathlon + Trail Half Marathon

Why SGRAIL?

The question people ask us most is: what’s next? Which title or record are you after? Truth be told, we’re here because we love this sport and all its diversity — the nerves before a race, the new adventures, and the joy of the process of getting to those days. That’s when nature becomes our playground, and “getting lost” out there is a beautiful part of the journey. That’s where SGRAIL comes from: hours of exploring with friends, pushing each other — but never just for a personal best. Sitting down after a magic day, as a community, sharing stories over a coffee or a beer.
