Visalia Emergency Aid Council
Go the Distance with Visalia Emergency Aid Council in our 16th Annual "Race Against Hunger". VEAC understands that the problems created by childhood hunger are many. Numerous studies have shown that hunger and malnutrition have a drastic effect on a child's long-term health, academic and social behavior. The "Race Against Hunger" provides the funding needed to keep our food pantry shelves stocked and doors open throughout the year.
Your participation and support will be felt by thousands of low-income families with children throughout our community. The funds raised at this event will impact men, women, and children right here in our community by providing free emergency goods and life-changing services including food, clothing, and hope.
Our Mission: To diminish hunger by managing a food pantry and providing other services to low-income families and individuals in our community.
Our Vision: A hunger-free community.
Our Commitment: To serve families and individuals with respect and compassion.
