When is the registration deadline?
Registration can be completed up until the start time of 8:00am the day of the race. Price increases for participation on June 2, 2025.
Where can participants park?
Parking is available on downtown streets, where permitted, and in city garages located at 99 Laidley St, Charleston, WV 25301.
What is the difficulty level of the course?
The 2.5 Mile Walk is flat and meanders through downtown. The 5 Mile Run is a challenging up hill course that starts downtown and ascends up and through Spring Hill Cemetery before returning downtown.
How are the awards structured?
Awards are provided to the top 3 based on age group and gender. The awards are gift certificates to Roberts Running Shop.
What is the inclement weather policy?
The race will occur unless inclement weather prevents the course from being safe for participants. Rain will not prevent the race from occurring.
Is there a place to store valuables during the race?
Yes, a valuable check in table will be available.
Are pets allowed on the course?
Four legged friends are encouraged. Please keep all pets on a leash and out of the path of runners on the course.
