Details

Starting at Memorial Park in Arvada, CO and winding through the beautiful Ralston Creek Trail, this is a scenic race! As you run, all of your fans will be able to see you from the start line, then walk less than 1/3 of a mile to see you at two different points before cheering on your finish. This is a very spectator friendly venue!

Be a part of our community-based race as we partner with the Arvada Food Bankto restock their cupboards after a busy holiday season. Each participant will receive a Heart Throb long-sleeved T-shirt.  (Gender specific styling!)

$40 race day (8:30-9:30 AM onsite at the park)

10:00 AM 5K Start

10:45 AM Post-Race Awards

11:00 AM After Party in Olde Town Arvada

DOGS

Dogs are welcome in the park, but we ask that you leave your pup with your spectators during the run for the sake of congestion on the course.

FOOD BANK DONATIONS

Remember, we're raising food for the Arvada Community Food Bank until Valentines Day.  Bring your non-perishible food items to the race where we will collect it from you! For every 5 items, you'll get a raffle ticket.  Many prizes will be given away!

STROLLERS

Due to the size of the race and the course being mostly out and back, we ask that you do NOT race with a stroller in this event.

CANCELATIONS?

Please remember, it is a WINTER race, and as such, there is always the possibility that snow and or ice may be present in areas on the course.  Dress appropriately.  Consider YaxTrax or similar shoe accouterments for icy conditions. We race on trails in an "as is" condition. VOLUNTEERING

If you have a family members and friends who want to cheer you on AND get all the perks of racing encourage them to sign up as a volunteer!   Volunteers who work a shift of 4 hours or more also receive a free entry into a future 3W Races 5k or 10k event - that's pretty cool!

PACKET PICK UP

Pick up your race number and shirt at advanced packet pick up on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 4 PM to 7PM.  You may pick up packets for others in your group.  If you signed up as a team, your packets will be avaiable for a 'group pick-up' so you only need to send one person to get the gear for your entire group.   Also, we'll be taking onsite registrations at that time as well, so bring along a friend and they can sign up, too!
