The "fun run" is in the memory of a wonderful 5-year-old boy named Aiden. He passed away in a tragic accident on June 3, 2021 and we want to honor him in an Aiden way with an outdoor event and many things to help us remember him and his wonderful spirit. All additional proceeds will be split between the Catamount Institute and Care and Share of Southern Colorado, two places that were very meaningful to Aiden.
The 5k will be held at the Fountain Creek Regional Park on June 4, 2022. This is an in-person event but there is a virtual option availble to those that are from out of town or just can not make it on that day.

Please consider carpooling when possible. Parking will be limited, but offsite parking will be available with shuttling services. Offsite parking information will be provided before event day.
The 5k will be on a trail system, not pavement. It will be down and back, with the flexibility to turn around at any point. Strollers are allowed on the trails.
This is a "Fun Run", with no timing devices available. You can take as little or much time you want on the 5k. Enjoy nature and enjoy Aiden's presence.
There will be a raffle with various prizes. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT FOR THE RAFFLE ITSELF. The raffle is only availble to in-person participants, not virtual participants.
Dogs allowed: TBD (I'll update as soon as possible)
