The "fun run" is in the memory of a wonderful 5-year-old boy named Aiden. He passed away in a tragic accident on June 3, 2021 and we want to honor him in an Aiden way with an outdoor event and many things to help us remember him and his wonderful spirit. All additional proceeds will be split between the Catamount Institute and Care and Share of Southern Colorado, two places that were very meaningful to Aiden.
We are planning on being at Fountain Creek Regional Park again in 2023 on Saturday, June 3! Additional information about the event will be released as the event time gets closer.
We will have carnival games, rock painting, guest speakers, and butterfly releasing. This is going to be another incredible event this year. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please CARPOOL. Parking will be limited and due to the burn ban, there is no parking on grass. An alternate parking lot may have to be used with a van taking people back and forth.
The 5k will be on a trail system, not pavement. It will be down and back, with the flexibility to turn around at any point. Strollers are allowed on the trails.
This is a "Fun Run", with no timing devices available. You can take as little or much time you want on the 5k. Enjoy nature and enjoy Aiden's presence.
Dogs ARE allowed! There is also a small dog park at the location as well.
We will have carnival games, rock painting, and butterfly releasing.
Vendors, food trucks, and volunteers can park on the West side of the park. All participants will park on the East side of the park.
