The streets and trails of downtown Colorado Springs are not exactly the "Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field" but on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 4) more than 1,000 runners will race for paydirt there in the 7th Annual Super Half Marathon™ and Game Day 5K™. School bands and cheerleaders will also be there to ramp up the festivities.
This event is a fundraiser for the Pikes Peak Road Runners and PikesPeakSports.us, organizations that work to promote running, racing and healthy living in Colorado Springs.
Pick your race, burn some calories, celebrate your accomplishment with your friends, then head home and catch the big game!

The Super Half Marathon™ can be used as a Pikes Peak Ascent Qualifier. Regisration for the Pikes Peak Ascent typically opens in March, thus the Super Half is a local race last-chance qualifier for the Pikes Peak Ascent. How cool is that. Qualify for the Pikes Peak Ascent on Super Bowl Sunday, and you don't even have to leave town.
Teams are available in both the Super Half Marathon™ and Game Day 5K™. Teams can be all-male, all-female, or coed. Scoring is based on the cumulative time of the 3 team members that score for their team.
Male/Female Team Requirements
Each team must have 3 members. No more than 7.
Top 3 runner times are used for scoring
Coed Team Requirements
Each team must have 3 members. No more than 7.
The first male and female are used for scoring, and the fastest of the 2nd male/female rounds out the third scoring team member.

The finish line will close at 1:00 PM.
