And we are back! The 10th Super Half Marathon & Game Day 5K will return to downtown Colorado Springs on Feb. 13th, 2022. While our game plan remains the same, we will keep you updated on current Covid-19 protocals and any adjustments to our plans.
The streets and trails of downtown Colorado Springs are not exactly the "Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field" but on Super Bowl Sunday more than 1,500 runners will race for paydirt in the annual Super Half Marathon™ and Game Day 5K™.
This event is a fundraiser for the Pikes Peak Road Runners and PikesPeakSports.us, organizations that work to promote running, racing and healthy living in Colorado Springs.
Pick your race, burn some calories, celebrate your accomplishment with your friends, then head home and catch the big game!
In an effort to alleviate some of the congestion getting onto the trail, we will be asking that you, the participants, line up based on your expected pace. Signage and volunteers will be in the start area to help with this process.
Please, no animals, no baby strollers, earbuds or headphones.
For an extra $5, participants (half marathon and 5K) will receive a long-sleeved tech shirt. Both men's and women's sizing is available.
Race medal for all Half Marathon and 5K finishers (will come in handy during the Super Bowl.)
Half Marathon finishers will receive a commemorative Pint Glass.
Nerf footballs for all the kids!
