Accessibility. Resilience. Community.

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.”

— Philippians 1:6

On November 15, 2023, everything changed.

A freak accident while playing with my daughter left me with a burst fracture at my C6 vertebra… and a diagnosis of quadriplegia.

In a moment, life as I knew it was gone.

What followed was months of relentless rehabilitation—physical, mental, and spiritual.

Long days.

Small wins.

Setbacks.

Faith.

And a decision, over and over again, to keep going.

Step by step… I learned to walk again.

This race started as something personal.

A way to run again.

A way to reclaim what was lost.

But it became something bigger.

The first year… we didn’t know what to expect.

Then came the moment I’ll never forget— running into the Thunderbowl with 300+

Year 2 we kept Going & Growing

A flyover during America the Beautiful.

500+ people at the starting line.

A community that showed up in a way I could have never imagined.

Break Your Neck is about getting back up when you’ve been knocked down-

Walking.

Running.

Rolling.

Together.

It’s a celebration of the resilient human spirit and a belief that everyone deserves a place at the starting line.

That’s why this race is free.

No barriers.

All abilities.

All disabilities.

Are mission supports:

🎓 The Dr. Raul Singh Nursing Scholarship at CSU Pueblo — investing in the next generation of caregivers
🧠 Spinal Cord Injury Research at Craig Hospital — advancing recovery and innovation
♿ Adaptive Equipment for Disabled Veterans through our partnership with Mount Carmel Veterans Service Center — helping veterans keep moving forward

We are proud to partner with Mount Carmel Veterans Service Center and grateful for the continued support of our local partners, including CSU Pueblo and the businesses and sponsors who make this mission possible.

$75,000+ raised in support of recovery, accessibility, and community impact.

And we’re just getting started.

This year, we’re building toward 1,000+ participants. Sign Up Donate if Able

Come run with me.

Come run with my family.

Come run with this community.

Never give up.

Never give in.

Always pay it forward.
