The Great Western Trail is a wide unpaved trail located in rural Weld County in Northern Colorado. The trail connects to the Windsor Trail system on the northeast edge of the Town of Windsor, traveling north to the Town of Severance. From Severance, the trail curves east, and runs through open agricultural lands 7.5 miles to the Town of Eaton.

An out and back on the crushed gravel path of the Great Western Trail, with views of the Rocky Mountains and a start/finish at Severance Community Park.

All participants receive this year's inaugural Great Western Trail Race shirt, a soft poly-cotton blend perfect for running or out casually! Register by April 1st to ensure we have your size on race day.

Volunteer at packet pickup, race day setup or serve at one of the fuel/aid stations along the course!
