Get ready for a fantastic mid-season challenge and a sun-soaked adventure at our 14th Annual Dog Days 5K, 10K, and half marathon, proudly benefiting Lifeline Puppy Rescue! Held in a central location convenient to both Denver and Boulder, our courses go along the scenic Big Dry Creek Trail as it winds northeast. You'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Flatirons on the horizon while you run.
This event is perfect for both human and dog athletes! The trail offers a generous amount of soft surface, especially along the 10K and half marathon routes, making it ideal for dogs. We celebrate our canine competitors with a separate dog division for each distance, where the first three finishing dogs will receive a medal, award, and prize. (Just remember to register your dog the morning of the event!) . For extra fun, join our dog-themed costume contest!
After conquering Dog Days, keep the challenge going by participating in the "endless series" counterpart, Fa La La, held in December.
Location
Lifeline Puppy Rescue is a true and 100 percent no-kill shelter. They keep every puppy until they find a home and their vision is to create a world where every puppy has the safety of home and every family has the love of a puppy. Lifeline rescues puppies and mom dogs from 5 states in the Rocky Mountain Region, from a network of 33 shelters and rescue groups, particularly in small towns and rural areas, to prevent euthanasia and has saved over 55,000 lives. Your donation will go a long way to saving these puppies!
Meet some of their puppies at the event after your run!
