Go The Social Distance: BEF Virtual 5K

Race Dates: October 24-Nov 1

Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)

T-Shirts:  Shirts are ready for pick-up anytime – just hop on over to The Athlete’s Source (83 Stony Hill Rd in the Big Y Shopping Plaza).

Race:  You are on your own to decide how to achieve the 5K.  You can walk or run, outside or in your home, morning or night – it’s completely up to you.  Many Apps can track your progress on your phones.  We have uploaded a very popular Bethel 5K route onto the "RunGo" App (it's free).  Download the App and press FIND ROUTE, and in the search bar type BEF: Go The Social Distance.  A race route will pop up. .  This route most likely will also be the route for the Bethel Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving! You can use this or create your own

Submitting Time:  If you would like your time recorded, please email tasbethel_erik@yahoo.com with your full name and time before the end of the race window (Nov. 1st).

Winner:  We invite you to wear your shirt and take a selfie while participating and post it on Facebook or Instagram – make sure to tag it with #BEFVirtual5K.  We will be watching, cheering you on and sharing posts.  The registered participant with the most social engagement by Nov. 1st wins a $50 gift card from The Athlete’s Source (you have to tag BEF for it to count!).
